What would you think about when talking about green tea? The answer would be Japan for me. In Japan, the Japanese do not only care about the taste of tea but also the way you drink it (tea ceremony), which makes Japanese green tea gain a high reputation internationally.
While tea bags are the most common way to drink tea, I would like to recommend one of the tea leaves producers; Jack Farm – a team farm based in Wazuka town, Kyoto. I tried their tea at the Nara farmers market and that was a wonderful experience. Unlike in other countries, the Japanese serve tea in cold, yet you can taste the freshness and fragrance of tea.
I have picked the first flush roasted green tea, which First Flush meansĀ the picking of the brand new two leaves and a bud in the earliest spring growth of the plant. As you can imagine, the quality outweighs normal green tea. Despite saying that, other products are also recommended!
While tea bags are highly consumed globally, I believe more and more people will enjoy drinking tea and will start enjoying pouring tea by themselves.
