Happy 2026! Sorry to all of you that it’s been a long time since the previous post. This time, I would like to share the Japanese black tea I found in Nagano, Japan.
Kurohime Wakankayu was founded in 1947, but the product I would like to recommend today was developed in 2019, which is the aged blend tea blended with Japanese fruits – (Apple, Blueberry, Yuzu, Lemon). Although tea leaves in general are not suitable to be aged, this company can apply the technique due to the perfect weather and environment of Nagano (Still cool in summer and able to keep away from moisture). I bought the Apple flavour one, and I am amazed by its quality. Natural taste of apple flavour without overlapping the scent of black tea, not oversweet, and smooth to drink. Highly recommend as a souvenir for friends indeed!
